This Week’s Update

Once again I have failed to post for an entire week. However, I have some pretty good excuses for my absence. This will just be a timeline of my adventures this week. I will go into detail on some of these events in later posts, so stay tuned for that!

So I’d like to start off with an all-week event. For the last week I have been staying at a friend’s house to watch her dogs, while her family went on vacation. And man, has that been an adventure. These dogs had me running around all over the place.

On Monday, I started college! It was and equally overwhelming and exciting experience. After school, I went to work.

Tuesday and Wednesday were pretty boring. I went to school and then went to work right after.

On Thursday, I said two very important goodbyes. I wished my best friend luck as she went off to college almost 2 hours away. The other goodbye was more permanent as my mom put my dog down, because her kidneys were failing.

I finished up my first week of college on Friday and went to work. Nothing too exciting happened there.

On Saturday, I work almost all day and then prepared for my friend and her family’s arrival home from their vacation.

Today, I had a meeting a work and now I’m currently trying to make plans for the rest of the day.

If I had to summarize my week, I’d have to say that it was full of emotion. I got my first taste of the excitement and stress that college will bring. I felt the excitement for my friend as she moved away for college. I felt the loss of losing a pet that I’ve had since I was little. I also felt additional stresses as I worked almost 35 hours. It has really just been a long week and to an extent, I am glad that it is over.
